My Creative Journey
I’ve always been drawn to bold, unique and unconventional concepts—whether in fashion, art, music or design. Being different wasn’t just a preference; it made life more exciting and full of possibilities.
Despite being told early on that design was a tough industry to break into, I was determined to prove myself. I took on various customer service roles for three years, where I developed a strong understanding of branding and consumer engagement. I constantly analyzed packaging and marketing materials, concepting ways they could be improved. This passion led me to pursue an MA in Graphic Communication, allowing me to refine my skills and transition into the design industry.
I now have five years of experience with my designs featured in major UK supermarkets. At The Royal Mint, I contributed to high-profile projects, including The Coronation of King Charles III and the 2023 Definitives and collaborated with brands like Bloomsbury Publishing for the 25th Anniversary of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone.
As a Creative Designer at Aldermore Bank, I develop marketing campaigns, internal and external communications, and business documentation, ensuring brand consistency across all touchpoints.
I’m always looking to improve my skills and stay ahead in the industry. At the moment, I’m part of a mentor programme, where I gain valuable insights and guidance to support my career goals. Additionally, I’m using LinkedIn Learning to develop my video editing skills and will be undertaking a Figma course in March to expand my expertise in digital design.
